Biographical Text

Robert "Bob" Moran was born in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Edward Moran, a fireman, and Catherine Murphy, a school teacher. He graduated from St. Francis Preparatory in 1945 and joined the merchant marines and then the Army. After his discharge in 1947 he graduated from St. Francis College. He worked at the Post Office briefly and then for I.B.M. in Manhattan, where he met Peggy Fahey. After their marriage they moved to Long Island and then in 1969 to Mahwah's Fardale section, where they remained. Bob worked at the Franklin Lakes I.B.M. building for many years and then in White Plains, before retiring and starting a consulting company, Isis.

Bob was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, and an avid golf and tennis player.
