Biographical Text
Michael Miczik was born on November 25th, 1919. He worked at the American Brake Shoe and Foundry and a clerk before serving in World War II. He was a member of the Aircraft Spotters Post 238 that covered Allendale, Ramsey and Mahwah. He returned to work at the Brake Shoe after the war, serving as an assistant to the works department manager for 35 years. Active in the Elks Club and the Mahwah VFW, he was a member of the Holy Spirit Byzantine Catholic Church.
