Henry Suleski enlisted into the United States Coast Guard on 1942-09-24. During WWII, the Coast Guard: supported search and rescue missions, supported combat missions, provided marine safety and port security, participated in beach patrols, amphibious operations, and convoy escort duty, and helped transport troops. Suleski was discharged on 1945-12-11. 

Henry John Suleski was born to Bolesław “William” and Władysława “Lottie” Suleski in Mahwah, NJ. He was one of eight children. His older siblings were: Stanley, Wanda, Joseph, Alexander, and Adam. His younger brothers were Stephen and Anthony. The Suleski’s lived on Railroad Avenue. Suleski worked for a contracting business in Mahwah. He served in the United States Coast Guard from 1942 until 1945. Suleski married Harriet Winters in July of 1952. They were married until their divorce in 1955. Suleski lived on North Railroad Ave, Mahwah. He was a sheet-metal worker at Lederle Laboratories in Pearl River, NY. He began working for Lederle Laboratories in 1962. He was a member of Mahwah’s VFW Post 7124, Local 64 of the International Association of Machinists, Local 143 of the International Chemical Workers Union, and the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. He was also a life member of Mahwah Fire Department Company #2. Suleski died on 1984-11-02. He was 62.
