Biographical Text

I grew up on a farm then located in the Fardale section of Mahwah, went through the school system- much info about
that - graduated Mahwah High School in 1961. At my request I had my mother sign me up for the US Marine Corps at 17 years old despite the fact my father was killed in action in World War II in Oct 1944 when Iwas 10 months old.

I served served 4yrs.4 mo all over the world left the service with the rank of Sergeant in December 1965.

Spent seven years working for Brogan Cadillac then in 1973 joined the Mahwah Police Department and worked there for 25 years. My duties included firearms instructor at the Bergen County Police Academy. I reetired as a sergeant in 1998.

Spent 9 years with the Mahwah volunteer ambulance corps and 6 years with the volunteer Fire dept. My wife Sally and I are married 51 yrs., she worked as a teacher for seventeen years in Mahwah school system.
